Wichita State opens the baseball season with a seven-game homestand.
WSU announced its schedule on Tuesday. It includes visits to Eck Stadium by 2016 College World Series teams Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
The season begins against Utah Valley on Feb. 17.
On March 3, WSU starts a seven-game road trip that includes games at Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma and LSU. It is WSU’s first games against LSU since the 1996 College World Series.
The Shockers open Missouri Valley Conference play on April 7 against Southern Illinois at Eck Stadium. WSU also plays home MVC series against Illinois State and Evansville.
