MINNEAPOLIS – The Wichita State men's tennis team came up short to Western Michigan Saturday, falling 5-2 inside the Baseline Tennis Center.

Western Michigan grabbed wins on courts one and three to take the doubles point from the Shockers. On court two, and got the action started for the Shockers, defeating Lehnard Haupt and Jack Randall, 6-1. The Broncos took one in the third flight, where and fell to Nick Schnobel and Peter Kuszynski, 6-3. and let a 5-4 lead slip away in the first flight, falling 7-5 to Jannik Opitz and Kennosuke Nouchi to give WMU the doubles point.
