PATTERSON, La. – The Wichita State men's golf team will finish in 4th place, as Atchafalaya Intercollegiate has been suspended due to inclement weather. Continuous rain and tornado warnings have forced the meet to end early, making the first round scores the final results. The second round was started, but since it was not finished, scores from the round do not count.
Grant Bennett, Yannik Emmert, and Max Mason all tied for 16th place after shooting a 73 in the Intercollegiate, good for +1 over par.
Jacob Bishop and Alec Heinen tied for 24th after shooting a 74, finishing them at +2 over par.
