RIO VERDE, Ariz. - Led by Mar Vidal and Louisa Brunt, the Wichita State women's golf team tied for eighth at the Rio Verde Invitational this weekend.
Wichita State tied for eighth at 60-over par, 924 over the three-day tournament. The tie for eighth finish ties a season best, which they did in the first tournament of the fall.
Vidal led the charge all three days, tying for 12th place at 7-over par and a total score of 223. It marks the second best finish of Vidal's career and is her first top 15 finish of the season.
