WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State's track and field team continues the outdoor season at the Texas-San Antonio Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Park West Athletic Complex.
In San Antonio, Wichita State will face competitors from host UT-San Antonio, Kansas State, Stephen F. Austin, Houston, Sam Houston, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Friday's action is scheduled to begin at noon with the hammer and javelin. The discus then will be contested at 3 p.m., and that will be followed by the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5k beginning four hours later.
