GREENVILLE, N.C. – Wichita State committed 34 turnovers and was outscored 30-11 in the third quarter, leading ECU to a 74-59 win Saturday afternoon in Minges Coliseum.
Wichita State (4-10, 1-8) held ECU to 36 percent shooting, but could not make up for the miscues on offense. Wichita State's 34 turnovers are the second most in the Keitha Adams era and a season high.
Asia Strong continued her offensive tear, going for a game-high 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting. She has scored 10 or more points in nine straight games, while also registering her third 20-point outing of the season.
