Tulane Takes Two from Shockers Saturday

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Tulane University Green Wave swept the Wichita State University baseball team in a doubleheader Saturday, April 6, at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, winning game one, 12-6, before taking the nightcap, 8-4.

Wichita State (18-14, 3-3 American), which had its season-long seven-game winning streak snapped after the game one setback, is scheduled to open an eight-game homestand at Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field, Wednesday, April 10, against Oklahoma State.

In the opening game of the day, went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, while drove in three runs on a three-run homer – his second of the season, leading the Shockers at the plate.
