True Earns First Team All-America Honors

Eugene, Ore. – Aaron True earned First Team All-America honors finishing eighth place in the javelin at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships, Wednesday night at Hayward Field.

In the field of 24 athletes junior Aaron True earned First Team All-America honors finishing eighth overall with a throw of 70.26m/230-6. In flight two of the javelin, True's first attempt traveled 67.26m/220-8, good enough for ninth place at the time. The Leroy, Kan., native would better his mark on his second attempt with a throw of 70.26m/230-6. On his final attempt in flight two he recorded a mark of 69.
