PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior javelin thrower Aaron True was named the American Athletic Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 9-16, the league announced Tuesday.
For the second time in the 2019 outdoor season Aaron True has garnered Male Field Athlete of the Week honors, he first was honored for his performance at the Herm Wilson Invitational during the week of March 19-26.
All-American True dominated the K.T. Woodman Classic javelin field on April 12, winning the competition with a meet record throw of 72.45m/237-8. The Leroy, Kan.
