WICHITA, Kan. - The first ITA Fall Circuit at Wichita State concluded on Monday afternoon and three Shockers advanced to the semifinals in their respective draws.
Marius Frosa and Alex Richards both advanced to the semifinals of the men's A draw and competed in tight three set matches. Frosa won the first set in his semifinal, but lost the next two to eventual champion Elio Lago, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9. Richards also won his first set and proceeded to lose the next two to Nicholas Heng, 1-6, 6-3, 11-9.
On the women's side, Sarvinoz Siadhujaeva made the semifinals of the women's A draw, but she lost to eventual runner-up Emma Staker, 6-4, 6-3.
