For their combined efforts in the classroom and on the court, Wichita State's Harriet Hamilton, LingWei Kong and Natsumi Kurahashi have been named to the first ever College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team.
CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, has sponsored Academic All-America teams since 1952, however this is the first year that the organization has published a tennis-specific list. To be recognized, student-athletes must have a 3.50+ cumulative GPA and at least one full calendar year at their current school. Graduate students must have also maintained at least a 3.
