Taylors Named AAC Most Outstanding Field Performer

WICHITA – Taran Taylor completed the Shocker sweep of the American Athletic Conference men's indoor/outdoor Most Outstanding Field Performance awards with his conference championship-winning throw of 73.93m/242'7" in the javelin.

Taylor's season-best throw ranks 11th in the nation and helped Wichita State to its first AAC men's team championship.

Taylor will join other Shocker qualifiers at the NCAA West Preliminaries Wednesday, May 25 through Saturday, May 28 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
