WICHITA, Kan. - Junior forward Asia Strong has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for a fourth time, it was announced Monday afternoon.
The South Bend, Ind., native scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting at ECU last Saturday, while also grabbing a team-high seven rebounds. Strong recorded her third 20-point game of the season and has now reached double figures in nine straight games.
Strong and the Shockers host Houston Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in the team's home finale for 2020-21. It is Wichita State's annual Play 4 Kay Pink Game.
