Sokolosky Cards Top-5 Finish, Shockers Place Sixth as a Team

OMAHA, Neb. – The Wichita State men's golf team competed in the Big O Classic this week in Omaha, Nebraska at Indian Creek Golf Club. The Shockers put together a 6th place team finish and Zach Sokolosky carded a top-5 finish after an exceptional third round.

The Shockers put together a team score of 892 with rounds of 296, 302, and 294, 28-over par and 6th place in the team standings. The tournaments host duo of Omaha and Creighton finished in a tie for first with Omaha taking the crown based on their score in the third round.
