Shorthanded Shockers Fall at Temple, 70-49

PHILADELPHIA – Wichita State tied a season low with 49 points in a 70-49 road loss at Temple Wednesday night, as the Shockers dropped their second straight game.

Wichita State (11-9, 2-5) was without the services of Seraphine Bastin and DJ McCarty again, as well as leading scorer Mariah McCully.

Jane Asinde registered her team-leading sixth double-double of the season behind 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nhug Bosch Duran tallied a season-high 12 points and Shamaryah Duncan added her second straight game in double figures with 11.
