Shockers Travel to Compete at Mule Relays

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field program will travel to Warrensburg, Mo., Friday, April 20 to compete in the Mule Relays hosted by Central Missouri.

A week after hosting the K.T. Woodman the Shockers are back in action and are sending 69 student-athletes to compete at the Mule Relays. Originally the Shockers were scheduled to compete in Norman, Okla., at the John Jacobs Invitational.

"We had to decide to not go to Oklahoma on Saturday," said head track and field directory Steve Rainbolt. "We pulled the trigger and made the decision when the forecast was 80% chance of thunderstorms and after we pulled that trigger it went to 90%.
