COLUMBUS, Ohio - No. 71 Wichita State bounced back from its first defeat yesterday to take down No. 51 South Carolina, 4-2, Sunday morning in the consolation match of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Varsity Tennis Center.
The Shockers (4-1) started the match on a strong note by winning the doubles point on court Nos. 1 and 2. At No.1 doubles, Tin Ostojic and Jocelyn Devilliers defeated Alex Fennell and Thomas Mayronne, 6-2. WSU's No. 34 doubles team of Miroslav Herzan and Haru Inoue downed Sam Swank and Harrison O'Keefe in the point-clinching match, 7-6 (6).
