Shockers Take a Two-Meet Trip to Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field team travels to Topeka to compete at Washburn in the Ichabod Mid-Week Challenge and the Ichabod Invitational on Thursday and Saturday.

The meets feature athletes from a variety of schools, including South Dakota, whose pole vault squads are both ranked No. 3 in the nation with a total of four vaulters in the top 25.

Wichita State currently has two athletes nationally ranked in the top 30 in their events. is 12in the nation in high jump and 30 in the pentathlon, leading the conference in both events, while sits in 27 in the nation in the weight throw to lead the conference by over a meter.
