WICHITA, Kan. – Destiny Masters and Tanner Brown led the Shockers to a sweep of the multi events Thursday at the Shocker Multi with their performances in the indoor women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon.
Masters won four of the five events in the pentathlon, scoring the sixth-highest pentathlon total in Shocker history (3877). She earned personal-best marks in the 60-meter hurdles (8.65), high jump (1.82m; 5-11.5) and shot put (11.04m;36-2.75). He high jump mark moved her into second all-time in Wichita State history.
Maria Romero took second in the pentathlon with a score of 3707, winning the 800m in 2:26.
