Shockers Surrender Big Lead, Fall in Double OT at Charlotte

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State saw an 18-point second-half lead slip away before falling in double overtime, 104-100, to Charlotte Saturday night at Halton Arena.

Wichita State (9-6, 1-1) placed four players in double figures and scored 100 points for the second time this season, but Charlotte (7-8, 1-1) used a late rally and clutch overtime shooting to secure the win in a back-and-forth contest that featured nine lead changes and seven ties.

The Shockers had won 29 straight games when scoring 100 points or more. The loss dropped Wichita State to 1-1 in OT games this season and 3-3 under .
