Shockers Squander Late Lead vs. #6 OSU

WICHITA, Kan. – For a second straight game, Wichita State was not able to hold a 3-1 eighth inning lead, as #6 Oklahoma State scored three runs with two outs and tacked on an insurance run in the top of the ninth for a 5-3 victory on Tuesday night at Eck Stadium.

With the Shockers leading 3-1 in the eighth, Wichita State reliever Adam Ketelsen (1-1) retired the first two men he faced to open the inning. But a walk and a single put two on for Aidan Meola, who yanked a double down the left field line to bring the Cowboys within 3-2 and put runners at second and third.
