WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State head women's basketball coach Keitha Adams announced the addition of Jeniah Thompson Thursday afternoon.
"We're excited to announce our last signee for this upcoming season," Adams said. "Jeniah Thompson was the second-leading scorer in the nation at the JUCO level. Jeniah has the ability to score in multiple ways and has great versatility. We're thrilled to add her to our team for this upcoming season."
Thompson is a 5-foot-9 guard from Carterville, Ill., and recently completed her freshman season at John A. Logan College. One of junior college's elite scorers, Thompson put up 23.
