WICHITA, Kan. - Scoring in three straight innings, the Wichita State softball team won its sixth straight conference game on Thursday night at Wilkins Stadium, defeating ECU 8-0.
Bailee Nickerson, Sydney McKinney and Laurie Derrico led the Shockers with two hits in three at-bats each and Erin McDonald came up with her 11th win of the season, only allowing four hits while striking out three batters.
Wichita State's RBIs were spread out between four players and seven different batters collected a hit, with Bailee Nickerson leading the way with four.
