Shockers Rout Memphis Behind Five Home Runs

MEMPHIS – Wichita State opened the weekend series with Memphis in dominating fashion, run-ruling the Tigers in five innings behind five home runs, 12-2, Friday night.

Wichita State (21-5, 4-1) crushed five home runs for the fourth time this season and recorded its eighth run-rule.

(11-2) struck out four and allowed just two runs over five hits in 5.0 innings of work.
