NEW ORLEANS - and combined for 37 points to lead Wichita State in a dominant road win at Tulane, 75-61, Sunday afternoon.

Wichita State (15-9, 7-4) improved to 5-2 all time on Super Bowl Sunday, including two straight on the big day. The win also keeps the Shockers right in the thick of the conference race, just one game back of first place Tulsa and South Florida. The Bulls come to Koch Arena Wednesday night for a massive showdown.

Battie poured in a career-high 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting and a career-high tying nine rebounds.
