Shockers Roll Past Sooners

WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State used three multi-run innings, a great start from Caden Favors, four hits from Chuck Ingram and 3.1 innings of hitless relief from Jace Miner to knock off Oklahoma 6-2 on Tuesday night at Eck Stadium.

The Shockers (9-7) got the scoring started right away, striking for a pair of runs in the bottom of the first after Favors stranded the bases loaded in the top half. Brock Rodden led off with a double, moved to third on a David Herring sacrifice bunt, and scored on a Payton Tolle RBI groundout.
