Shockers Rally Past Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark. -- The Wichita State volleyball team rallied from behind to defeat host Arkansas State (17-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 15-8) in the final match of the A-State Invite.

Knotted at 8-8 in the decisive fifth set, WSU (3-0) reeled off seven straight points to stay unbeaten. Natalie Foster sparked the run with a solo block and two kills, including the clincher.

The match came in stark contrast to Friday when the Shockers swept both Missouri State and UT Martin.

Kailin Newsome posted her first double-double as a Shocker with 17 kills and 10 digs.
