TULSA, Okla. – Wichita State completed an action packed day one at the ITA Central Regional with five wins, Thursday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.
Shockers Haru Inoue, Murkel Dellien, Orel Ovil and Marius Frosa recorded wins to reach the Round of 32, while Eddie Stoica collected a first round win.
Seniors Andrea Caligiana and Austin Williams dropped their first-round matches, and will compete in consolation action. A native of Perugia, Italy, Caligiana fell in three sets to Oklahoma State's Brady Draheim (6-3, 3-6, 6-3).
