Shockers Ousted in American Conference First Round

UNCASVILLE, Conn. – For the second straight season Wichita State's season came to an end in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Championship. The No. 10 seed Shockers fell 61-50 to the No. 7 seed Tulsa Golden Hurricane at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Wichita State (12-18) and Tulsa met for the second time in four days after the home team took each regular season matchup.

Seraphine Bastin registered her first career double-double with 13 points (7-10 at the free throw line) and 10 rebounds, while also adding four assists. Carla Bremaud notched her team-leading 15th game in double-figures with 10 points.
