Shockers on the Home Stretch of Regular Season
WICHITA – The Wichita State track and field team is set to compete Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30 at the Drake Relays and the Rock Chalk Classic.
The Shockers are sending a distance squad to the Des Moines, Iowa to race in the 1500 meters, 3,000-meter steeplechase, 5,000 meters and 4x1600-meter relay on Thursday and Friday at the Drake Relays.
"The whole distance culture is all about racing fast and trying to position yourself well," head coach Steve Rainbolt said.
