Shockers Hold Off UCF

WICHITA, Kan. – posted his first double-double of the season to help the Wichita State University men's basketball team earn an 87-79 victory over the UCF Knights Saturday night, Jan. 25, inside Charles Koch Arena.

Wichita State (17-3, 5-2 American) is scheduled to travel to conference-leading Tulsa (13-6, 5-1 American) Saturday, Feb. 1. Tip-off from the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla., is slated for 5 p.m. CT.

Dennis, a sophomore guard from Baker, La., netted 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor, including a 4-for-8 showing from three-point range, and snagged a season-best 11 rebounds, leading the Shockers, while (14 points), (14 points), (11 points) and (10 points) also scored in double figures for WSU.
