WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis opened up their home schedule with ease by defeating Newman, 6-1, at the Wichita Country Club on Tuesday.

Two more home matches are occurring this week. The Shockers face Iowa State on Friday at noon and Louisville on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., at the Wichita Country Club. Fans will not be admitted to any matches hosted at the Wichita Country Club.
Doubles
The Shockers kept the same doubles lineups they used against Missouri State. The third pair of Alexandra Lazarova and Natsumi Kurahashi won first with a 6-0 sweep and the 23rd ranked pair of Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva followed soon after with a 6-1 victory.
