WICHITA, Kan. -Wichita State (17-10, 9-6) fell to conference champion Rice (18-8, 14-1) 3-0 on Friday night at Charles Koch Arena in its last home match of the season. Rice won by scores of 27-25, 25-20 and 25-17.
The Shockers recorded a .128 hitting percentage with 42 kills and 22 errors. The Owls hit .186, with 42 kills and 15 errors.
Sydney Dunning recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs. Jordan Heatherly led WSU with 33 assists. Gabi Maas recorded 27 digs, the most by a Shocker.
