NORMAN – The Wichita State men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 13 Oklahoma Thursday evening at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
Murkel Dellien and Haru Inoue gave the Shockers an early advantage in doubles play, with a 6-1 win on court two over Jochen Bertsch and Alex Bakshi. OU's Ferran Calvo and Mason Beiler knocked off Andrea Caligiana and freshman Stefan Latinovic, 6-4. Eddie Stoica and Marius Frosa battled in the top slot, taking on Spencer Papa and Jake Van Emburgh. The pairs went back and forth, pushing it to a five-all tie.
