• After a Pugh kill tied it at 18, the Cardinal closed out the set on a 7-2 run to win 25-20

• Stanford fought back for a 29-27 win in the third set
• A block by Koon and Wright gave the Shockers an early 9-6 lead
• Stanford used a service ace to tie it at 10 and the two teams traded points until the Cardinal used back to back kills to take a 16-14 lead
• Two kills from Brown tied the score at 20 and kills from and Koon brought the Shockers to set point at 24-23
• Stanford fought off three set points to come back and win 29-27
