Shockers Fall to Lady Bears, 65-60

WICHITA, Kan. – Despite forcing 18 turnovers and scoring 34 points in the paint, the Shockers fell to Missouri State 65-60, Sunday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.

The Shockers forced 18 turnovers in the game while only turning the ball over 14 times and also outscored the Lady Bears in the paint 34-14. The Lady Bears knocked down eight three-pointers while the Shockers hit just three.

Keke Thompson led the Shockers with a career high 16 points, while Rangie Bessard followed with 15 points. Bessard and Diamond Lockhart also grabbed six boards.
