DES MOINES, Iowa - The Wichita State men's tennis team lost to #46 Drake by a score of 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles play, Drake's Ben Stride and and Calum MacGeoch defeated Sergio de Vilchez and Eddie Stoica 6-2, while Ben Woods and Bayo Phillips topped Haru Inoue and Miroslav Herzan 7-5 to secure the doubles point for the Bulldogs. Jocelyn Devilliers and Austin Williams were leading their doubles match 6-5, but was unfinished after Drake won the point.
In singles play, Stoica picked up the lone win for Wichita State, as he defeated Phillips 6-2, 6-3.
