MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Wichita State women's tennis team fell to No. 37 Kansas State ,7-0, Friday at the Mike Goss Tennis Stadium, snapping a six-match win streak.

The Shockers dropped just their second doubles point of the season, falling in flights two and three. In flight three, and , who came into the match with a 6-1 record, fell to Ioana Gheorghita and Maria Linares, 6-3. The Shockers top duo, and , fell behind 3-2 to Margot Decker and Anna Turco before rallying to win 6-4. and raced out to a 4-1 lead in the second flight, before Karine-Marion Job and Ines Mesquita took the final five games to clinch the point for the Wildcats.
