Shockers Fall on Walk-Off to #21 Buckeyes

AUSTIN, Texas. – The Wichita State softball team fell to a two-run walk-off home run for the second time this season after leading the No. 21 Ohio State Buckeyes until the last out of the game.

The Shockers started on the offense with Mackenzie Wright drawing a leadoff walk and advancing to second on a wild pitch. Caitlin Bingham got the start in the circle, pitching 4.1 innings with four strikeouts.

In the second Wichita State took the lead with Bingham reaching first on a throwing error before Madison Perrigan stepped up with a double to deep right center to get runners on third and second.
