HOUSTON – The Wichita State men's tennis team ended competition in the 65th Annual Ralph 'Connor Rice Invitational with a very close loss to the UAB Blazers on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Shockers (3-16) have lost eight in a row and UAB (9-8) wins their second straight match.
Doubles was incredibly close with two courts being decided in a tiebreak. UAB would grab the early edge in doubles with a 6-3 win at court three over and . The Shocker pair of and responded, putting together 7-6 (1) win at court one to bring all eyes to court two.
