WICHITA—The Wichita State men's basketball team fell to Missouri, 72-62, on Sunday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.
Clarence Jackson and Tyson Etienne led the way for the Shockers with 14 points each. Jackson also contributed seven rebounds and Etienne added two rebounds and two assists.
Missouri took command of the game in the second half, outscoring the Shockers 38-32 in the final half of play. They went on a 15-5 run to open the second half.
After the Missouri lead ballooned to 17, Wichita State cut the lead to 10 three times in the final 8:34, but could not get the deficit below 10.
