HOUSTON -- Treyton Rank hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift Rice to a 4-3 win over Wichita State on Friday night at Reckling Park.
Wichita State (15-33, 7-15) took a one-run lead in the top of the 12th inning when poked a two-out RBI single to score , but the Shockers were unable to hold the lead as Cole Green tied the game in the bottom of the inning with a solo home run to left off reliever . WSU later loaded the bases in the inning with three consecutive two-out walks, but was able to keep the game going by inducing a fly out to center.
