WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State will be the No. 4 seed in this week's 2024 American Athletic Conference Softball Championship, hosted by the Shockers at Wilkins Stadium, May 8-11.
The Shockers open tournament action on Wednesday, May 8 vs. No. 9 seed UTSA at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
Wichita State finished the regular season at 16-11 in AAC play, one game behind No. 3 seed North Texas. Florida Atlantic and Charlotte shared the regular season title, but the Owls will be the top seed in the tournament with Charlotte at No. 2.
