WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State dropped its season finale on senior day to first-place Houston 3-0. The Cougars won by scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-18.
Nicole Anderson led the Shockers with nine kills and 11 digs, while Natalie Foster added eight kills and three blocks. McKayla Wuensch had 19 assists and eight digs, while Morgan Weber had a team-high 18 digs.
The Shockers raced out to a 5-2 lead in the first set, but the Cougars used a 5-1 run to take a 7-6 lead.
