Shockers Drop Both Games on Final Day in Texas

CONROE, Texas - On the final day of the Scrap Yard Blizzard Challenge, Wichita State dropped both contests to finish the tournament at 2-2. The Shockers fell in game one vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi (5-1) and in the finale to No. 7 Texas in five innings (8-0).

Wichita State (2-2) scored just one run in the two games after scoring a combined 28 on the first day.

and were the only Shockers to record hits in game vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi. McKinney was 4-for-4 and Nickerson 3-for-3, while scored the lone run.
