WICHITA – In a match that began outdoors and finished indoors, the Shockers weathered the storm on senior day, closing out Creighton, 4-1.
"It's great to finish our last home match of the season with a win," head coach Darragh Glavin said. "Thanks to our seniors, Zach and Orel, for all of their contributions to this program over the years."
Playing simultaneously with the women's team, the men had four active singles matches while on the outdoor courts with the No. 5 and 6 waiting for matches to finish.
After losing the doubles point, the Shockers (11-14) quickly bounced back, winning all four first sets.
