Shockers Dominate on Valentine's Day

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State men's tennis team beat the Drake Bulldogs 4-1 on Friday, at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center, in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday. This was the Shockers second victory over the Bulldogs this season as they won by an identical score on January 26, at the Razorback Invite.

WSU will be back in action tomorrow as they will take on the DePaul Blue Demons at 11 a.m., at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

The Shockers were not messing around in doubles as Elio Lago and Alex Richards cruised to a 6-1 win over Freddie Powell and David Nyman in their first match together, while Benjamin Niv and Stefan Latinovic continued their dominant season bagging a win over Finley Hall and Reid Jarvis, 6-3, to improve to 5-1 on the year.
