WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State men's tennis team wrapped up fall action with trips to Birmingham, Ala. and Niceville, Fla. for ITF Futures events.
Senior Haru Inoue collected two singles wins at the USA F29 Futures in Birmingham to advance to the quarterfinals of a futures main draw for the third time this year. A native of Tokyo, Japan, Inoue took down Liam Draxl (CAN) in the first round (6-4, ret.). Inoue followed with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Jan Zielinski (POL) to reach the quarterfinal, before falling to eventual finalist Strong Kirchheimer (USA), 6-1, 6-2.
