RIO VERDE, Ariz.- The Wichita State women's golf team completed its first round of the spring season on Saturday. The Shockers are in 13th place at the Rio Verde Invitational after shooting 310 as a team.
Senior Gavrilla Arya is on track for her fourth top-20 finish of the season, where she's currently tied for 16th after coming up with a first round score of 75.
Shooting for par in eight of her first nine holes, Arya managed to start the first round tied for 17th. The Jakarta, Indonesia native shot for par in 11 of her first 12 holes, moving into a tie for 11th.
