LAFAYETTE, La.- The Wichita State men's golf team finished the first two rounds of the 34th Annual Louisiana Classics on Monday, compiling a team score of 618.
The Shockers are currently in 15th place heading into the final round on Tuesday.
Senior Yannik Emmert is tied for 19th after the first two rounds, coming up with a birdie and three bogeys in the second round. Sophomore Palmer Hays came up with a 154 and collected two birdies in the process.
Freshman Dawson Lewis and Grayson Wallace each came up with a 158 36-hole score, with Wallace competing in his first tournament of his college career.
